About this Event
Housing stability is essential to quality of life and a sense of belonging in the community. For many immigrant neighbors, navigating unfamiliar housing systems, finding emergency shelter, understanding rental requirements, or pursuing homeownership can present significant challenges.
Join IWC, local housing, and community leaders to discuss how to better support immigrant families experiencing homelessness, seeking emergency shelter, navigating the rental process, or pursuing homeownership. Panelists will share information about available resources, practical ways to support immigrant families, and strategies for making housing options and processes more welcoming and accessible. We'll also explore how changing federal policies and documentation requirements may affect housing access and how organizations can respond to the needs of immigrant communities.
The event is free, but registration is required.
Power Partner Conversations bring together community leaders and subject matter experts to explore critical issues affecting immigrant communities—and to strengthen collaboration among partners working to meet those needs. The 2026 Power Partner Conversation series is generously sponsored by the MIBOR REALTOR® Association.
