About this Event
Curious about where a degree in statistics/Biostatistics or data science can take you?
Join the American Statistical Association - Central Indiana Chapter for an in-person career panel featuring professionals whose careers span academia, industry, consulting, and business.
You’ll hear how our panelists built their careers, the choices and transitions that shaped their journeys, and what they wish they had known when they were just getting started. They’ll share practical advice on finding opportunities, applying for jobs, building useful skills, and navigating different career paths in statistics and data science.
Whether you’re a student thinking about your first job, an early-career professional exploring your next step, or simply curious about career options beyond the classroom, this is a chance to hear directly from people working across very different areas of the field.
The main panel discussion will take place from 5:00–6:00 PM, with networking before and after. Bring your questions! you’ll have the opportunity to connect with the panelists and learn from their experiences.
