About this Event
Supporting a child or young person who is experiencing bullying can be upsetting, frustrating, and at times overwhelming. This group offers a safe and supportive space for parents, carers, and guardians to come together, share experiences, and connect with others who understand the challenges of supporting a young person through bullying.
The session provides an opportunity to discuss concerns, explore ways to support your child’s emotional wellbeing, and learn practical strategies to help them build confidence and resilience.
Whether your child is currently experiencing bullying or you are worried about changes in their behaviour, this group aims to provide understanding, encouragement, and peer support.
What is The Nook?
The Nook offers drop-in mental health support in a safe, stigma-free and non-clinical environment – without the need for an appointment.
Walk-in support hubs where anyone can visit to speak about mental health, The Nooks will provide visitors with access to support for themselves, or people they care about.
Our first Nooks are now open in Glasgow’s Merchant City and in Marischal Square, Aberdeen. Our skilled and compassionate staff are ready to support you, seven days a week.
The Nook is a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment. When visiting/participating I agree to treat everyone facilitating and attending this event with respect. I understand that inappropriate, disruptive, or abusive behaviour may result in me being asked to leave and may affect my ability to attend future events.
