Sunday Service, Nov. 8 at 11am.The Work of Remembering presented by Debbie Goodman
In person at 595 Townsite Road, and on Zoom.
Remembering is more than looking backward. It is an act of care, a way of honouring those who came before us, preserving the truth of what happened, and carrying hard-won wisdom into the future.
But remembering is not always easy, and forgetting is not always accidental. What happens when painful histories are denied, diminished, or simply allowed to fade away? On this Remembrance Sunday, we will reflect on the work of remembering: why it matters, what it asks of us, and how the stories we choose to carry forward shape the world we make together.
