Sunning in San Diego, Protecting the Arctic: Polar Bear Conservation in Action
How do you study an apex predator in one of the most remote places on Earth? Sometimes, you start in San Diego! The polar bears at the Zoo aren't just guest favorites—they are vital partners in cutting-edge conservation research. Dr. Nicholas Pilfold from San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance shares fascinating stories from the frontlines of polar bear science, bridging the gap between local zoo research and conservation in the Arctic.
Here's the Zoom link for anyone who wants to attend online.
