About this Event
This program will feature contemporary classical chamber works inspired by art from the Chazen and beyond, and includes the world premiere of a new work by Madison-based composer Lawren Brianna Ware.
Founded in 2025, The Madison Chamber Players is a modular chamber ensemble that brings together musicians from the University of Wisconsin–Madison Mead Witter School of Music and the greater Madison area. They strive toward a community that is connected through music by curating thought-provoking and meaningful performance experiences for their performers and audience. They serve as a model for civic and community engagement through partnering with local small businesses and promoting the works of living and emerging composers. They create safe spaces for audiences to engage in the joy of collaborative music making, and create pathways for conversation through performance.
