4-H Day at the State Fair 🎡
Join us Saturday, October 17 for a day celebrating 4-H at the State Fair!
4-H members receive FREE admission when they show their 4-H membership card or wear their 4-H shirt. If you still need a membership card, please let us know. They are available for pick-up at the Clemson Extension Office.
Sumter County 4-H Group Photo: Please meet us at Nutt Cattel Arena at 12:30pm for our group photo!
Parade of Counties
We’ll feature a Parade of Counties during the 4-H Ceremony. Each county is invited to send a representative to carry its county sign. Representatives should meet at Nutt Cattle Arena at 12:45 p.m. to pick up a sign and line up. There is no sign-up sheet this year.

- Dairy Cattle Show — Nutt Cattle Arena
- Junior Swine & Swine Showmanship — Swine Barn
- Youth Horse Shows — Abernathy Arena
- 4-H Rabbit & Poultry Showmanship — near Abernathy Arena, behind the Swine Barn
12:45 p.m. — Gather at Nutt Cattle Arena for the 4-H Ceremony
1:00 p.m. — 4-H Ceremony begins

Refund statement: Full payment is due upon registration. No refunds will be issued within three weeks of the start of the event.
Membership requirement: Current 4-H membership in is required for participation in this event.
Custodial Care: Please note that this event and its coordinators do not assume custodial care of youth in attendance. Adults (parents, guardians, volunteers, coaches, or chaperones) must be present for the supervision of youth participants.
