Summer Teen Fiction Filmmaking Program with Real Results
Join us for our signature 5-week Summer Intensive Teen Fiction Filmmaking Program in Washington D.C.! Get ready to unleash your creativity and learn the art of filmmaking including how to make a film as well as how to produce it.
This in-person course offers a fantastic opportunity for teens to explore their passion for storytelling through film. You will have a unique chance to meet interesting professionals and see how they work. You will be part of a group of young filmmakers aged 14-18 whose films will be premiered at the end of the course.
This is not a drop-in program, but we allow for a week away. We ask participants for 75% attendance and we give Certificates of Completion to those who do. Names will be included in the final film credtis as cast or crew for those who have taken part.
Meeting schedule: June 29th - July 31st, Mon to Fri: 12.30pm -5.30pm, in-person (some days may be 1.30-6.30pm). July 31st pm is the public screening of all the films produced.
Venue is expected to be two blocks from either Dupont Circle Metro Station or Takoma Metro Station in a safe and secure facility.
Cost: FREE for all the participants with a required, non-returnable $75 (DC residents) / $95 (non DC residents) registration fee to cover incidentals, including snacks. Once you have signed up here, we will get in touch to fill in our application form. Once admitted, you will be asked to pay the registration fee to secure your place in the program.
