In Jewish tradition, there are four times during the year we are mandated to have a Yizkor service: During Pesach (Passover) and Sukkot, and on Shavuot and Yom Kippur. If you have lost a parent, spouse, child, or sibling, Judaism encourages us to attend Yizkor services.
