About this Event
Suffolk People First Conference
Come and be part of a new and more accessible Suffolk People First Conference.
This event is for people with learning disabilities, autistic people, families, carers, supporters, and professionals who want to help make Suffolk a better place to live.
We are pleased to welcome Gary Boulet from Learning Disability England, who will talk about what a "good life" means for people with learning disabilities.
After this, there will be group discussions where you can share your ideas and experiences about things that matter, including:
- Health
- Friends and relationships
- Housing
- Jobs and volunteering
- Transport
- Having a voice and being heard
At the end of the event, everyone will help choose the three most important priorities for Suffolk People First to focus on over the next year.
The feedback gathered will be shared with local groups and the Suffolk Learning Disability Partnership Board to help make sure people's voices are heard and can influence change.
