Our 2026 Beef KPI review meeting is just round the corner, with an exciting addition…We are delighted to welcome along Simon Smith, from Smith Farm Consulting, to talk all about feeding beef suckler herds. Simon specialises in independent nutrition and farm business management for the dairy, beef and sheep sectors. With over 30 years’ experience, his passion lies in nutrition, herd management and ration formulation. After this tough summer and with forage supplies somewhat depleted already, this is a great time to tap into Simon’s vast knowledge and make a plan for feeding over the coming winter.
Good nutrition is paramount for optimum fertility and overall herd performance. For the second part of this meeting, we’ll be delving into your KPI data from the 2025-2026 season, comparing this to previous years. As ever, we’ll be celebrating progress, sharing experience and looking for areas where we can make improvements to herd health and profitability.
