About this Event
Join us for a Pre and Postnatal Workshop led by Jessica Hund, PT, DPT, owner and CEO of The Floor PDX, a women’s health and physical therapy practice.
In this workshop, Jessica will cover what the pelvic floor is, where it is, why it matters, and what you can do to improve the strength and capacity of this important region, particularly when preparing for birth and navigating postpartum.
You’ll then have the opportunity to put what you’ve learned into practice during 30 minutes on the reformer, exploring how to engage the pelvic floor and incorporate it into your movement.
Come with questions — we all learn together!
Dr. Hund is passionate about creating an environment where trust is formed and believes the status quo doesn’t have to be the standard.
She especially loves working with perimenopausal and postmenopausal women, and anyone with a pelvic floor and vulva who is struggling.
Jess has led pelvic floor discussion panels, teaches as an adjunct professor at George Fox University, and has completed training through Herman & Wallace.
Come learn, ask questions, and leave with a better understanding of your pelvic floor and practical tools you can take into your movement practice.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at [email protected].
We can’t wait to have you join us!
