About this Event
This event will bring together a community of university-based staff, practice educators, and trainers working on professional programmes, where student fitness to practice procedures are required as part of regulatory or membership body requirements. The event is facilitated by Dr Sarah Corrie, Professor of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy & Counselling and Dr Jo Finch, Professor of Social Work, from the University of Suffolk, who have recently completed a suite of studies exploring student fitness to practice in contemporary contexts and will share insights from the research.
The aim is to create a space for thoughtful discussion, shared learning, and connection around the challenges and developments in this important area of university practice and provide opportunities to network with like-minded colleagues.
We hope this will be a valuable opportunity to collaboratively reflect on current practice, consider the inherent challenges involved strengthen our community, and support ongoing development in this evolving field.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. For any enquiries about this event, please contact Professor Sarah Corrie on [email protected].
