Hey Sacramento storytelling friends โ this one's for you. ๐You already know that something special happens when people gather to tell true stories out loud. You've felt it at all the great shows blooming in our area (shout out to Do Tell, Word of Mouth Placerville, and In a Nutshell Storytelling!) You've felt it in the car on the way home when you can't stop talking about what you just heard.
On Sunday, October 18, that feeling is coming to Davis.
The Davis Odd Fellows Lodge #169 presents the Storytelling Extravaganza, an afternoon of entertainment, delight, and extraordinary true stories told live.
๐ Featuring:
John Aubert โ the man In a Nutshell once called "the best storytelling ambassador we know." Host of Capital Storytelling's Do Tell, Moth StorySLAM winner, and one of the most genuinely beloved humans in the Sacramento storytelling scene.
Alex Paez โ you may have seen him at all the storytelling hot spots, telling fantastic stories with wit and charm. Moth StorySlam winner, Communication Studies professor, former Disney character performer, national speech champion, and a man making up for 25 years away from the mic with absolutely zero chill.
Suzon Lucore โ charismatic storyteller, community connector, prolific artist, and a familiar and beloved face to anyone who's spent time in Sacramento's storytelling orbit.
Chip Powell โ accomplished storyteller and Moth StorySLAM veteran. Killed it at Nutshell this year. Took to storytelling like a natural. One of Sacramento's biggest up-and-comers.
Amy Bee โ co-creator of In a Nutshell Storytelling, WILDCARD!, and the Nutshell True Story Hour podcast. Yes, THEE Amy Bee. In Davis. On a Sunday afternoon. Come say hi. It'll make her nervous, but she loves seeing you!
And more!
