I wanted to let you all know about a very special event happening this Saturday at Cabela's in Hammond.Live Free USA is hosting a Storm Preparedness Review and Round Table where we can all share our experiences and lessons learned during the widespread power outage caused by the derecho that left thousands of people without electricity for extended periods.
Some of us have prepared for disasters like this. Some have not. Some of us that prepared learned the preparation we did wasn't enough or didn't work like we thought. This is a chance to have a round table discussion with others about what worked, what didn't, what we learned, and how we plan to change our preparedness plans moving forward.
There were MANY lessons learned, even by some of those that thought we were prepared.
Join us at 1PM Saturday, October 24th, 2026 at Cabela's in Hammond, IN upstairs in the conference room.
We'll be recording the event, and will be compiling what we learn to share with you in our newsletter American Survivor.
I hope you'll join us to share your experiences and learn from others.
