Join us for a walking tour of Historic St. Michael’s Cemetery in downtown Pensacola. We’ll explore the cemetery’s history, “meet” some of the people buried there, examine its grave markers, and learn how the site has been managed and cared for over time. The tour begins at 5 p.m. and lasts approximately 90 minutes. The cost is $15 per person and all proceeds support the ongoing preservation of the cemetery. All ticket sales must go through our Zeffy link in event. Attendees are requested to wear closed-toed shoes suitable for walking on unstable surfaces and appropriate attire for the weather conditions. Since the tour will be held at dusk, attendees are also welcome to bring small flashlights, if desired, to help with walking. St. Michael's Cemetery does not have smooth walking paths for those with accessibility needs.
Attendees should plan to meet with tour guides at the northern entrance to St. Michael's Cemetery on Florida Blanca Street 10 minutes before their tour start time. Free parking is also available along Florida Blanca Street and E. Salamanca Street.
This tour is most suitable for individuals aged 12 and above; a parent or guardian must accompany attendees under 16 years old. Space is limited to 20 people. St. Michael's Cemetery is open to the public daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cemetery is also a Florida State Park and a part of the Pensacola Historic District.
