About this Event
South Rosedale: The Original Estates
Meeting Place: Outside of Castle Frank Station, NE corner of Castle Frank Rd & Bloor St E
Before Rosedale was a neighbourhood, it was a handful of country estates on the hills overlooking the ravine. Join architectural historian and real estate agent Alex Corey for a walk through the oldest part of South Rosedale, where the neighbourhood began.
From mansions to houses, apartments to co-ops, we will look at the architecture, people and stories that stitch the neighbourhood together. We will see the estates that survived and trace the ones that were lost, alongside what came after.
Note: All proceeds from our Storied Homes Walking Tours are directed to charitable organizations within the neighborhoods where the walks take place. For this event, donations will support Yonge Street Mission.
Please note: A maximum of one ticket per email address is permitted.
