Remember the thrill of an amusement park — the lights, the music, the midway games, and that moment when the ride starts moving?Cirque Mechanics brings all of it to the Community Concert Hall with TILT! on November 12 at 7:30 p.m.
Inspired by the sights, sounds, and playful spirit of a 1980s amusement park, TILT! combines jaw-dropping acrobatics, aerial artistry, juggling, humor, and some pretty incredible human-powered machinery.
And at the center of it all? A giant human-powered Ferris wheel.
The newest production from the acclaimed theatrical circus company transforms the stage into a whimsical amusement park filled with inventive contraptions, daring performers, and plenty of surprises. Along the way, TILT! tells the story of a weary amusement park worker whose chance encounter with a guest — and a confiscated boom box — sends the two on an unexpected adventure.
With performers from the worlds of circus, gymnastics, dance and clowning, TILT! is fast-moving, imaginative and just plain fun. Bring the family, bring a friend, and come ready to be amazed.
