Join us at Tucson Jewelry School for a hands-on jewelry-making class focused on building a setting specifically for a faceted stone. In our Step Bezel Faceted Setting class, you’ll learn how to use sheet metal to create both the bezel wall and the seat that supports your stone. It’s an opportunity to explore how the individual parts of a step bezel work together while practicing the fabrication skills involved in creating the setting.
This class is Skill Level: Intermediate and is intended for makers looking to build on their existing experience and expand into faceted-stone settings with instructor guidance.
Your instructor, Kim St. Jean, is Tucson Jewelry School’s resident artist and has more than 25 years of experience teaching jewelry making. She’ll guide you through the process as you learn how to construct the wall and seat needed to support a faceted stone.
