About this Event
Join us on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 2:00–6:00 PM at King County’s Black Panther Park in Skyway for an afternoon centered on supporting community, celebrating Black culture, and connecting residents with local businesses, organizations, and resources.
The day will include community food, groceries and resources, guest speakers, youth entrepreneurs, Black-owned businesses, and live DJ music. Stay Rooted also honors the history and legacy of the Seattle Black Panther Party while creating space for today’s community to gather, build relationships, and support one another.
Whether you’re coming to connect with resources, support a local business, learn more about community history, enjoy the music, or simply spend time with your neighbors, you’re welcome.
Free and open to the community.
