This workshop is a hands on taste of how you could start your own productive garden, big or small. DATE: Saturday 24th
TIME: 10.30 am -12.30 am
LOCATION: Wentworth Falls
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to help start a new market garden here in the Blue Mountains.
Learn while doing:
- Taking soil samples: how where and why
- Interpreting the results
- The soil food web
- Sourcing and adding the necessary amendments
- Building organic matter
- Planting and cover crops
Join Rhiannon and Mark of Mountains Gourmet and and Ground Grocer for this intensive session.
This is a hands on workshop - Please bring gloves, appropriate footwear and garden clothing. If you have your own wheelbarrow and shovel please bring it along!
