We are excited to host our very first open house! Whether you are interested in our composting services, curious about how to best build your own compost piles, want to learn about our food forestry techniques, or just want to connect with like minded people around a musical bondfire - we’ve got a lot to offer our community with this FREE event!
We’ll be building the soil in place with a technique called sheet mulching in preparation for the greenhouse we plan to put up next year. We’ll be joined by our friend Nick Wrenn to share our design and plan to build a lower maintenance and organically grown community orchard on the property.
We will also be joined by Antonio Stovall to help bless our communities relationship with this land and amplify our intentions by honoring our ancestors, as well as past, present and future earth workers on the land.
Check the schedule and Drop in at anytime throughout the day to see how we are trailblazing a path towards community agriculture and deeply rooted sustainability.
