Loudon Avenue Christian Church at 730 Loudon Avenue, Roanoke, VA. will hold our annual blood donation drive, in conjunction with The Red Cross, Saturday, November 14, 2026, 10:00 am - 2:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.Why is it important to donate blood?
Your blood donations are used for patients in need of surgery, cancer treatment, and transfusions for blood loss from traumatic injuries. Also, blood donations are a key treatment for sickle cell anemia, and your donation can directly help patients who need it.
As a donor, you will receive a $10 Gift Card by email plus 500 bonus points toward Donor Rewards! YOU can MAKE a DIFFERENCE!
During this blood drive you can also get your A1C checked. An A1C test is a blood test that measures the percentage of sugar‑coated hemoglobin in your blood to show your average blood sugar level over the past 2–3 months.
