Mass cytometry offers a powerful approach to explore complex biological systems at both the single-cell and spatial level, enabling highly multiplexed protein analysis across a wide range of translational and clinical research applications.
In this seminar, the CRCM team will introduce CyTOF™ technology and highlight recent platform innovations, including approaches for tracking therapeutic antibodies. Through selected examples, the speakers will illustrate how CyTOF technology can be applied in Phase 2 clinical trials and real-world therapeutic monitoring, supporting detailed characterization of immune responses and treatment-associated changes.
Complementing the suspension mass cytometry perspective, Emilie Gregori will present applications of Imaging Mass Cytometry™ (IMC™) technology, demonstrating how highly multiplexed protein detection can be combined with spatial information to characterize tissues and their cellular microenvironments.
Together, the talks will provide a complementary view of the mass cytometry toolbox – from deep immune profiling in suspension to spatially resolved tissue analysis – and highlight its potential for translational and clinical research.
