PROTEST
Outside County Hall. Meet councillors and then we take our petition in to the full council meeting at 10.30am. ITV News have confirmed they will be filming.
Children are very welcome.
WHY WE'RE GOING
For the third year in a row, hundreds of Oxfordshire children with SEND were left without transport to school. Parents missed work. Children missed school. Specialist places the council pays for sat empty.
The council keeps blaming "late applications”. And they have said NO to an independent inquiry. It’s not good enough.
We don't need yet another "lessons learned". The parent carer forum have done them for years. We need OCC to be accountable.
ON THE DAY
- Bring a homemade sign if you like (please, no party logos)
- Dress for the weather; we'll be outside
- This is a peaceful, family-friendly gathering
- We will then go and sit in the public gallery to see the petition delivered. And then go for coffee!
