About Your Instructor
Your instructor, Alyce, has been practicing the art of mosaic for 30 years. Originally inspired by the classical mosaic traditions of ancient Greece, Rome, and Britain, she now blends those traditions with modern styles and ideas.
Alyce finds creative inspiration in almost everything around her: from the vibrant blooms and organic textures in her garden to fun patterns found in the modern built environment, natural rock formations, and any unique detail that captures her imagination in daily life. She’ll bring warmth and experience in guiding you to bring your own artistic vision to life.
