The workshop will be taking place in small groups from my studio based at Vallis Farm, Frome. I will teach you how to cut and grind glass, copper foil and solder the pieces together. You will be able to pick from a handful of simple designs, from Christmas trees to stars, mistletoe to baubles.

What is copper foiling?
Copper foiling is a technique for joining pieces of cut glass into a stained glass panel or object, most famously associated with Tiffany lamps, which is why it's often called the "Tiffany method.” With each glass piece having its edges wrapped in a thin strip of copper foil tape for the solder to bond to.
