Craft, Creativity and Connection - a restorative day of crafting, delicious food, and wildswims in the natural pool and relaxing in the wood-fired sauna in the beautiful surrounds of Vallis Farm.Anna (the Love Makers Cafe) will guide you in your choice of craft from her extensive menu and after a delicious Vallis lunch, Tara (the Wild Swimming Woman) will guide you in a delightful wild swim & sauna session to support you in the darkest month as we await the return of the light at winter solstice.
What to expect:
• A warm welcome with light refreshments
• An introduction from Anna about the Craft Cafe and how it works
• The opportunity to select your choice of craft from Anna's menu
• Time for play and experimentation, easy conversation - or companionable quiet.
A hot lunch cooked with love using herbs & veg from Vallis Farm
• Supported cold water dip in a natural pool with guidance from qualified open water swim coach Tara
• Wood fired sauna
• Tea and cake
You will:
• Learn a new crafting technique
• Create something wonderful to take home in your own gift bag
• Receive a full safety briefing and gentle education about cold water immersion
• Be guided through a fully supported, safe, and empowering immersion in the crystal-clear natural pool

About Wild Swimming Woman
Tara is on a mission to help women bring a little more wild and joy into their everyday lives, through nature connection and swimming outdoors. As a qualified and experienced open water swim coach she ensures that everybody feels safe and supported and celebrated, whether it's your first ever dip or your millionth.
About Love Makers Cafe
The Love Makers Cafe exists to celebrate making, curiosity and community. Whether you're a dab hand already but fancy some company, or you haven't picked up a brush since school: you are welcome.
An antidote to the pervasive perfectionism, loneliness and tech overwhelm of modern life, this is a space where play and experimentation, easy conversation (or companionable quiet) and working with our hands is encouraged.
