About this Event
October 16-18, 2026
Friday 6 - 9 pm • Saturday 12 - 7 pm • Sunday 12 - 5 pm
Art lovers, meet over 80 local artists exhibiting and selling their original work at the Schmidt Artist Lofts Brewhouse. The galleries, working Ceramic and Paint Studios, Phil Gagnè Hall, the Atrium, Clubroom, Multipurpose Room, and Tunnel-level spaces will all be filled with painters, printers, potters, photographers, fiber artists, jewelers, illustrators, woodworkers, and more. Don't forget to stop by our Kids Creative Corner, too.
Join us on the Rooftop for live painting and art demonstrations with Timestamp Art and our Open Palette sessions. You are invited to watch a rotating group of artists in action, demonstrating their unique processes. Then head out to the rooftop deck for the spectacular view of the St. Paul skyline and the changing leaves along the Mississippi River Valley.
Crawl early for our daily giveaway. Be one of the first 25 shoppers each day to spend over $100 in art and receive a FREE, limited-edition, Schmidt tote bag designed by one of our residents. Visit the Front Desk for details. While you are there, check out our new Schmidt Merch.
To keep you fueled, grab coffee in the Lobby and a delicious treat from the food trucks on our Plaza, near the entrance. Gondolier Coffee Cart, Eggroll Queen, Trickster Tacos, Hopper’s Mini Donuts, and Savanna Food Trucks will all be on site. Several restaurants and pubs are within walking distance.
For a fun, memorable photo, find our new Selfie Station. Snap a pic of our castle-like building or your favorite artist’s booth. Don't forget to tag us @SchmidtArtists. We love seeing Art Crawl through our visitors' photos.

In 2013, the historic Schmidt Brewery was transformed into the Schmidt Artist Lofts -- artists' living and workspaces. Over 200 artists reside at Schmidt, and many of the visual artists will be selling their work during Art Crawl. The building is only open to the public during our events.
Schmidt Art Crawl is organized in conjunction with the Saint Paul Art Collective. Over 30 locations throughout St. Paul are participating this weekend during the Fall 2026 St. Paul Art Crawl.
