About this Event
Sunday 8 November 2026 | 10.50am | St Giles-in-the-Fields
Join us at St Giles-in-the-Fields this Remembrance Sunday for a special service of Choral Mattins, as we remember before God all those who have given their lives in their service of others, and pray for peace in our world.
In the beautiful and historic setting of St Giles-in-the-Fields, we gather in remembrance, thanksgiving and prayer, with the words of the Book of Common Prayer and music from the English choral tradition.
The service will include O Valiant Hearts, Tallis's Responses and Henry Purcell's moving anthem Thou Knowest, Lord, alongside readings from Holy Scripture.
'Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends' - John 15.13
