Talk | Conversation between Pierre-Alexandre Mateos & Charles TeyssouAbout this Event
What happens to architecture when desire becomes a way of navigating the city? (Spector Books, 2026) examines how cruising has appropriated, transformed, and produced spaces subverting the libidinal cartography and the use of the modern metropolis — from parks, public toilets and streets to bars, clubs, bathhouses and dating apps.
In this talk, editors Pierre-Alexandre Mateos and Charles Teyssou discuss the book’s history, case studies and the queer spatial practices that challenge the organisation of urban life.
