About this Event
In a choose your own adventure style crafternoon, participants will be unleashed on a variety of materials with the goal of making something inspired by their favourite tv show, character, or video game.
They'll be able to turn vintage trinkets into accessories, try their hand at hama beading, turn unloved pokemon cards into brooches, immmortalise their favourite character onto shrinky dink paper, or have a go painting some 3D character figurines. There will be something for everyone!
With video game elements and playful trivia included, we'll be encouraging participants to share their fandoms (and hopefully find some likeminded mates in the process!)

Agenda
Shrinky Dinks
Info: The magical material that shrinks and hardens when put in the oven! This material can be used to create bookmarks, keychains, jewellery, and more. We'll have plenty source material available on the day, and can accomodate special requests in person.
Hama Beads
Info: Hama beads are assorted and then melted together to form an 8-bit style image. Great for recreating mario, pokemon, and other video game characters; we'll have a bunch of guideline imagery on the day, but participants can also pick their own adventure in creating something unique to them.
Junk Accessories
Info: With a huge assortment of figurines, vintage Disney, and other toys. I'll show you how to convert these items into wearable pieces. Want to make them more intricate? No problem! We'll have extra beads and adornments to make them truly unique. You'll also have the option of badge making too, where you can use hand drawn images, or repurpose pokemons cards and magazine cutouts.
Paint a 3D character
Info: We'll have an assortment of characters and mini-figs to choose and paint on the day. These will be random illustrative style models unless you stipulate a fandom for your young person while booking.
