Please note this workshop is suitable for ages 10+.
Bring a vase from home, or choose from our collection of secondhand glass vases to decorate and keep.
Participants will be welcomed to a beautiful selection of fresh spring blooms sourced from our local floral wholesaler. Before we begin arranging, we'll spend some time getting to know each flower - learning about its characteristics, how to prepare and condition it, and the best techniques for creating a long-lasting arrangement.
From there, you'll design your own seasonal bouquet, experimenting with colour, texture, height, and balance as we guide you through an ages appropriate introduction to the fundamentals of floral arranging.
Whether you prefer something wild and whimsical or neat and elegant, each participant will leave with a one-of-a-kind arrangement.
Bonus: For those who want to add a little bit more crafty whimsy to their arrangement, we'll also have elements that will allow participants to turn certain blooms into mini characters like bees, sheep, and more!
