About this Event

changemaker are pleased to be partnering with Kind Consultancy to host the next Automotive Finance Roundtable, bringing together industry leaders and practitioners from across the sector.


The session will explore emerging regulatory developments and the increasing role of Artificial Intelligence across financial services, the wider marketplace and day-to-day business operations.

Designed as an open roundtable discussion, the session will focus on sharing experience, insight and practical perspectives from organisations navigating these changes today.


As always we will respect our respective organisation confidentiality and follow Chatham House Rules, while allowing open dialogue.

Topic 1 – FCA Redress Scheme


Following the FCA’s recent most recent announcement, the session will begin with a discussion around the industry response and the potential operational and commercial implications for lenders and partners.


Discussion points include:

• Industry reaction to the recent FCA announcement
• Operational readiness across organisations
• Financial and reputational implications
• Complaint volumes and handling strategies
• Regulatory expectations and likely next steps


Objective

To gather perspectives from across the industry and share insights on how organisations are preparing to respond.


Topic 2 – The Mills Review: AI in Financial Services


The FCA’s Mills Review is examining how Artificial Intelligence is currently being used across retail financial services and how its role may evolve in the coming years. Alongside this regulatory work, wider industry research is exploring the potential impact of AI across business operations, customer engagement and decision-making.


This session will explore both the regulatory perspective and the practical experience of organisations already adopting AI-enabled solutions.

Discussion areas include:

• Where AI is currently being used in automotive finance
• AI in complaint handling and case management
• Risk and regulatory considerations
• Customer interaction and query management & the human impact when supporting vulnerabilities
