Twice each year, nature pauses in a moment of almost perfect balance.
Day and night stand as equals. Light and shadow share the sky. And perhaps there’s something in that for us, too.
On Sunday 20 September, Ella and I are gathering women again for our next seasonal Circle & Chakradance experience this time honouring the Spring Equinox and journeying with the powerful, loving energy of Goddess Isis.
Isis is a Goddess of alchemy, renewal and gathering the scattered pieces back together. And I keep coming back to that idea.
Because Spring doesn't necessarily need us to reinvent ourselves, suddenly bloom or charge headlong into something new.
Perhaps becoming begins by gathering ourselves back in. Finding our centre. Honouring both the shadow and the light. And noticing what has been quietly stirring within us through winter.
We'll begin by gathering in women's circle before Ella guides us into a deeply embodied Chakradance journey inspired by the energy and mythology of Isis.
Through guided meditation and imagery, chakra-resonant music and spontaneous movement, we'll step out of our heads and allow our bodies to have a voice in what comes next.
And no, you don't need to know how to dance.
There are no steps to learn. No choreography to follow. With your eyes gently closed or softly lowered, nobody is watching.
This is your own inner journey, held within the safety and belonging of a room full of women taking theirs alongside you.
Afterwards, you'll create a mandala to capture whatever colours, symbols, feelings or messages emerged before we return to circle to share and gently integrate the experience.

You don't need to know anything about chakras. You don't need to know anything about Isis. And you definitely alread know how to move your body.
Come exactly as you are.
At the meeting place of shadow and light, we'll gather, move and listen to what our bodies already know. Perhaps the question for this Spring Equinox is simply:
What parts of myself am I ready to gather back in?
What is ready to be renewed?
And what is already beginning to stir?
From balance comes possibility.
From possibility… becoming.
