About this Event
Speaking up starts with something you care about. This workshop is about finding the words—and the delivery—to express it.
Join spoken-word poet and arts leader Brandon Allen for Speak Clear: Public Comments, a workshop connecting creative expression with civic participation.
Explore how spoken-word techniques can help you craft your voice for public comment. The focus is on communicating your perspective clearly and bringing intention to both your message and your delivery.
Whether you’re getting ready for your first public comment or looking to strengthen how you speak about community issues, this workshop offers a creative approach to making yourself heard without losing what makes your voice your own.
