Make the most of Labour Weekend with live music, great food, drinks and a brilliant view of Cromwell’s fireworks at Te Puna Mahara – Cromwell Memorial Events Centre.Queenstown’s Mojo Trio will be playing the songs you know and love, with Kiwi and international favourites spanning the decades. Expect plenty to sing along to, a lively atmosphere and one final set after the fireworks.
Come down early, grab something to eat and find your spot. Moreish Kitchen will be serving hot, walk-and-fork dishes and Awa Eatery will be open with a wide selection of food available. Drinks will be flowing from multiple bars, with beer, wine and non-alcoholic options available throughout the venue.
The Lakeside XL Room will have the live music, cool lighting and plenty of energy, while tables, couches and quieter areas elsewhere in the venue will give families—and anyone wanting a more relaxed evening—somewhere comfortable to eat, drink and catch up.
When it’s time for the fireworks, head outside to the public terrace and surrounding lakefront viewing areas. Once the display finishes, come back inside as Mojo Trio turns things up for the final set.
And because Monday is Labour Day, there’s no alarm clock to wake you up early!

The Cromwell fireworks display is independently organised by the Cromwell Promotions Group and weather-dependent. The event will still proceed with live music, food and drinks if the display is postponed or cancelled.
