The plan is to leave the McNulty inlet (Dunstan Boat Club) Cromwell around 10am. So if you are there around 9am to put your ski in the water and get everything organized we will have a quick riders briefing at 9:45 am. Please be present for this as there is quite a few safety things we need to go over and make sure everyone is on the same page.
We will ride up to the top of the lake for a quick head count then onto the river for an enjoyable scenic ride all the way to the Lake Wanaka Outlet with a small stop halfway. Then another head count at the top of the river before we head to the Wanaka Lake front for some lunch and a fuel top up. After that we turn around and head back to Cromwell.
What you will need.
Fuel. Either carry it with you or opt to use the fuel pump on the lake at Wanaka.
Life Jacket (PFD)
Wet-suit or equivalent. Just in case you end up in the water
Sun Glasses
Sun Hat and Beenie
Wet weather gear. Just in case it gets cold.
Lunch. Water and snacks
Radio if you have it.
A floating rope if you have it.
