The 24HR Adventure Race is a navigation race, with teams being supplied with maps. Check point locations are pre-marked. There is a race guide to assist your team to navigate through the race.
Support Crew: Support crews are unnecessary as each leg of the race is run from a central hub. If the course requires that gear needs to be moved for a leg, then this will be organised by the race.
Race Disciplines: The race may feature sections of paddling, rafting, mountain biking, trekking/running and abseiling. While there are no grade 2 certifications required, teams should feel comfortable paddling a stable Barracuda AR Duo double kayak.
Completion Times: The 24HR course is set so that the fastest teams should be able to complete it in around 16 hours, while the endurance end of the pack might like to stay out for longer, with a maximum time allowed to complete the race of 24 hours.
12 hour Adventure Race
Race Start: Between 6am-9am, TBC closer to the race
Entry Fee: $250/pp - 12 Hour entries close 8 November or when full
Categories: Back in 2026 is the female team category. Teams can enter 12 hour all female or the 12 hour open category
The 12HR course is set so that the fastest teams should be able to complete it in around 9 hours, with the course closing at midnight. Teams are welcome to skip portions of the course if they are not confident they can finish. These teams will be unranked
