About this Event
Live Improvised Music · Open Dance Floor · Toronto
🌑 We're back in Toronto — and the sky is dark, which is perfect for dancing.
Spark Dance returns for our first Toronto gathering of the fall, landing on the new moon — a night for fresh starts, quiet power, and stepping into something new.
A collective of Toronto musicians creates fully improvised live music for an open dance floor. There is no DJ, no set list, and no choreography. The band listens closely to the dancers — every sway, stomp, or stillness shapes what comes next. Some come to dance hard, some to sway gently, some to simply listen. Every presence helps guide the music.
Each night is unrepeatable. Co-created. Real.
It's been a summer of dancing in new cities and new spaces. Now we're home. Come start the season with us.
