Southfields Library is proud to host a poetry club. Led by local poet Siddiq Islam, the club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Members are from all walks of life with varying levels of experience. English is the primary language used in the club but members have used foreign language poetry and translated works before.
The experience is free for all and open to all, regardless of prior experience with poetry. It is an open and safe space, welcoming anyone interested in reading or writing poetry with fellow literary enthusiasts.
