Southern Doc Fest is a new one-day documentary festival in Durham that celebrates the power and creativity of Southern storytelling. As we launch this inaugural festival, we are proud to bring together filmmakers, audiences, and community partners from across the Triangle and the South to celebrate the stories that shape our region. The event will showcase feature length documentaries, short films curated by the PBS series Reel South, filmmaker conversations, and a live musical performance. Through immersive experiences and meaningful dialogue, audiences will connect directly with the filmmakers and stories shaping the South.
