About this Event
South Asian Edmonton Changemakers (SAEC) is a community initiative hosted by South Asians United for Mental Health (SAUMH), funded by the City of Edmonton and supported by the Canadian Mental Health Association.
SAEC aims to equip youth and seniors in the South Asian community with the skills and resources needed to lead intergenerational dialogue, promote anti-racism and mental wellness, and facilitate meaningful, culturally responsive change within the community.
The youth and senior facilitators in this symposium have completed training focused on these areas. This event gives them the opportunity to put their skills into action by sharing what they have learned, facilitating conversations, and engaging with the wider community.
