On Saturday 14 November join award-winning rapper, songwriter and creative visionary MALI JO$E as he explores the art of contemporary hip hop and storytelling in his session God is the Wind.
Part listening session, part live conversation, part sonic journey, each Sound Cabinet session offers an intimate look into how music is imagined and made.
MALI JO$E is part of a new wave of globally minded artists emerging from Fremantle / Walyalup, blending sharp lyricism with experimental, forward facing production that sits comfortably alongside the international avant garde.
Following a breakout run through 2024, including a WAM Award for Best Hip Hop Act, appearances at SXSW Sydney, and collaborations with artists such as Sol ChYld and Mick Jenkins, Mali cemented his position as one of Australia’s most compelling new voices.
