About this Event
This immersive sound session is designed to calm the nervous system and support deep rest. The vibrations of sound help ease tension in the body and invite the nervous system into a more restorative state, offering moments of insight and a deeper connection to the body's innate wisdom. The effects of this practice often continue throughout the day and sometimes into the week. Gentle breathwork and, at times, loving-kindness meditation may also be woven into these sessions. We'll be lying down on the floor, so feel free to bring a small pillow for extra head support, along with a mat or blanket.
There is no minimum age to attend, but this practice is not well suited for little ones who won't be able to lie still for about 45 minutes, as movement nearby can be distracting for other guests.
To protect the experience for everyone, please plan to arrive by 9:20. Entry will not be permitted after 9:40, as late arrivals can be disruptive once the session has begun.
About Franci Blanco:
Franci is a Miami-based wellness facilitator and coach with roughly ten years of experience teaching yoga, breathwork, sound bath, and meditation. She completed her yoga teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and has returned three times since for month-long periods of continued study. She has also completed three ten-day Vipassana meditation retreats and her first year of professional training in the application of therapeutic sound through The Center of Light Institute of Sound Healing and Shamanic Studies. Franci teaches across venues including The Standard and Miami Beach Botanical Garden, and is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work. Her classes are rooted in breath awareness and nervous system support, inviting a deeper connection to the body's own wisdom.
