Learn to facilitate sound baths and one-on-one sound experiences through presence, deep listening, and relational awareness.
Sound as Ceremony is a one-day immersive for those who want to work with sound not simply as a collection of techniques, but as a responsive and relational practice. Through instruments, voice, rhythm, silence, nervous system awareness, and energetic perception, you'll learn to listen to what is happening within yourself, the participant, the environment, and the relational field.
At the heart of this training is a simple principle:
Sound is relationship.
Most sound trainings teach what to play. Sound as Ceremony teaches how to listen.
Rather than following a prescribed sequence of sounds, you'll explore how to notice what is emerging, make intentional choices, work with pacing and silence, and create sound experiences that feel grounded, ethical, and attuned. You'll also develop practical foundations for facilitating both group sound baths and one-on-one sessions.
During this immersive, you'll explore:
- Deep listening and nervous system awareness
- The relational field and sound as ceremony
- Working with instruments, voice, rhythm, and silence
- Guiding sound journeys with clarity and care
- Creating ethical and grounded containers for practice
- Foundations of one-on-one and group facilitation
- Toning, vocal expression, and intuitive sound practices
- Listening and responding rather than performing
This is an experiential training. You'll have opportunities to listen, practice, explore sound, and begin integrating the principles into your own facilitation style.
Who This Training Is For
Sound as Ceremony is ideal for Reiki practitioners, energy workers, yoga teachers, coaches, bodyworkers, existing sound practitioners, and those who feel called to explore sound as a practice of presence, connection, and relational awareness.
You do not need to be an experienced musician or sound practitioner to participate.
What You'll Leave With
By the end of the immersive, you'll have a foundation for facilitating simple sound baths, guided sound journeys, and one-on-one sound experiences using instruments, voice, rhythm, and silence. You'll also leave with a deeper understanding of listening as a facilitation skill and how to develop a sound practice that is responsive rather than performative.
In-Person + Remote Participation
In-person participants will gather at Awareness Center Yoga in Pasadena for the full six-hour immersive and hands-on practice.
Remote participants will join the training live and participate in the teachings, listening practices, vocal exploration, demonstrations, reflection, and facilitation exercises from their own space. You do not need to own an extensive collection of instruments to participate remotely. You can work with the instruments and sound-making tools already available to you, including your voice.

About Your Facilitator
Reina Prado is a Transformational Mentor, Facilitator of Energetic Wisdom, and founder of Healing Queen and the Healing Queen School of Sacred Alchemy. With more than 15 years of experience in holistic energy practice, Reina brings together ceremonial practice, earth-based and ancestral wisdom, sound, Reiki, and energetic awareness.
Their approach to teaching centers presence, discernment, and relationship rather than technique alone. Through Sound as Ceremony, Reina invites practitioners to deepen how they listen, respond, and facilitate, cultivating a sound practice grounded in relational awareness, ethical care, and trust in what is emerging.
