About this Event
Soul in the Sequence
The Art of Creating Meaningful Yoga Experiences

What makes a yoga class more than a collection of poses?

Soul in the Sequence is a 3-hour continuing education training designed for yoga teachers who want to deepen their understanding of sequencing while exploring how intention, storytelling, creativity, and clear cueing can transform the student experience.

Join two experienced E-RYT-500 yoga teachers, each bringing a unique perspective and years of teaching experience to the room. Together, we’ll explore both the foundations of thoughtful sequencing and the creative possibilities that emerge when we begin to see a yoga class as an experience with an arc, rhythm, and purpose.

This training will include:

  • Traditional sequencing principles and methodology
  • Creative and intentional sequencing
  • Building an effective class arc
  • Storytelling through movement
  • Using music and musicality with intention
  • Clear, effective cueing
  • Opportunities to practice teaching and receive feedback
  • Space to explore and develop your own teaching voice

This is an interactive training, not simply a lecture. You’ll have the opportunity to learn, observe, create, teach, and receive feedback alongside other yoga teachers.

Whether you’re newer to teaching or have been teaching for years, Soul in the Sequence is an opportunity to revisit the foundations, explore new possibilities, and consider how your own perspective and creativity can shape the classes you offer.
