Join us for the opening of a solo exhibition of paintings by Sonja Rijsbosch.
Sonja makes paintings that move, in colour, in texture and in feeling. Inspired by nature and guided by intuition, she works in layers, building up expressive, large-scale pieces with acrylic paint and mixed materials.
For her, abstract art gives you the freedom to see what you feel: every viewer can give the work their own meaning, which makes each experience unique. She hopes to bring positive energy, surprise and vibrancy into every piece. Alongside her own work, Sonja also creates commissioned paintings that grow from someone's story or atmosphere into something personal.
