A Fundraiser for LGBTI+ Communities in TurkeyCome together for a night of music, drag, art, fundraising, and collective resistance at Burcu's Angels!
Across Turkey, LGBTI+ communities are facing a new wave of police raids, detentions, and arrests. Organizations that have spent years building spaces of care, solidarity, and belonging are being targeted, and the people who have kept these spaces alive are now facing imprisonment, legal battles and uncertainty about their livelihoods.
For some of us from the Turkish diaspora, this hits close to home. The people affected are our friends, family, and people we've stood alongside for years. This is a night to gather, celebrate our communities, and look after each other across the borders.
