About The Artist:
Sophie Hunter’s sound blends the nostalgia of early 2000s pop-rap with modern alternative pop sensibilities. Before releasing her debut singles, she spent over a decade performing slam poetry and participating in college comedy. Wanting more creative freedom away from the competitive trauma-dumping environment of slam poetry, she began putting her poetry and written lyrics over YouTube type beats. She officially entered a recording studio in 2021, and has since built a dedicated, rapidly growing fanbase. Fans on platforms like Reddit agree that she brings a uniquely fresh and humorous voice to the modern hip-hop landscape, heavily anticipating her mainstream breakout.
